“RUWSEC received a grant to conduct a research on ethics and professionalism among community health workers from the Thakur Foundation. As part of this project, we conducted a 3-day Public Health Ethics Writeshop between April 7-9, 2022, in which 10 young public health ethics scholars from all over the country participated and were mentored by experts in Public Health Ethics to write manuscripts on the theme “Ethics in implementing community health worker programs in India”. The papers were submitted to the Indian Journal of Medical Ethics by June 2022. After undergoing rigorous peer review and editorial processing, five of these papers are now published in the theme issue in Indian Journal of Medical Ethics.
